Stacey Marie Kerr, M.D. graduated from the University of California Davis Medical School in 1989 and is currently a board certified family physician. Until recently, she had an active private practice in all aspects of clinical medicine that included adult medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, and general preventive care. In 2004, she retired from her business of family practice and now remains available only through this website.  Dr. Kerr is a member of the California and American Academy of Family Physicians. She holds a B.S. in Education/Special Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia Missouri. She has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, currently writes a monthly column for the newspaper (Santa Rosa Press Democrat), and her new book, Homebirth in the Hospital will be available in October 2008. She also has another website (Original Face Photography) offering her photographs that specialize in babies younger than six months old. Dr. Kerr has extensive online experience, and she continues to develop creative aspects of patient care through the use of her computer. For over a year she hosted The Doctor’s Inn in a small Internet community for women called Women’s Wire. The Inn was such a success that she decided to share it with the Internet community at large.
